Silver Pictures signed Albert Torres to write the film adaptation screenplay for the movie based on Cartoon Network’s “Ben 10.”

The film will be about a boy who discovers the Omnitrix that allows him to transform into ten different alien species.

Torres recently did a rewrite on the Warner Brothers’ script for “Akira.” He wrote the story for 2008’s “Henry Poole Is Here.”

Silver Pictures’ Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Steve Richards will be producing the project.

According to Variety, it is very likely Warner Brothers Pictures may distribute the pic due to the relationship with Silver Pictures.
