5 PT Characters That Should Be Added To Star Wars Galaxy Of Heroes

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes has become the most profitable game in Star Wars history. For those who have never heard of SWGOH, that is what players in the community call the game, it is a turn-style- combat RPG game that you can play on your mobile device.  It is really the only Star Wars game that you can use characters from different eras in the Star Wars universe together.

Although the amount of characters in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is up to 220 characters that are unlockable there is still plenty of characters that EA Capital Games could bring to the lineup.  Each week we are going to put together five characters that should be brought into the SWGOH universe.  This week we are choosing characters from the prequel trilogy.

Jar Jar Binks

It is kind of a surprise that Jar Jar nor Gungans are in Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes already.  With factions being a key part of the SWGOH line up it would seem easy to include the amphibious sentient group from Naboo into the game.  While we could look at other Gungans like Boss Nass, it only makes sense to bring Jar Jar to the game first.  He would be an easy character to synergize with characters like Padme Amidala or Qui Gon Jinn. Similar to how C-3PO is used in the game Jar Jar could be a supporting character that could inflict debuffs on his enemies.  Let’s hope that this Gungan makes it into the game sometime soon.

Ric Olie

With ships being a key component of the game Naboo ships have yet to crack into the lineup.  One of the least memorable characters in the prequels, Ric Olie, could be a start to that faction.  While his character probably wouldn’t bring anything of use to the character combat, he could be the pilot for the Naboo Royal Starship. Since he was the pilot for Queen Amidala’s royal starship it would be the first step to introduce the Naboo Starfleet to the ship’s lineup.

Padawan Obi Wan Kenobi

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes already has Old Ben Kenobi, General Kenobi, and Jedi Master Kenobi; we do not have a Padawan Kenobi.  Why not include the character that was at the beginning of the whole adventure.  A young Padawan Kenobi could synergize with Qui Gon Jinn, who is a character who doesn’t really work with any faction. This version of Kenobi could be more skilled with lightsaber combat and less effective with Force attributes.

Queen Amidala

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes

Queen Amidala is another character that is surprising that she isn’t already in the game.  The Queen could be the light side version of Nute Gunray is to the game and provide buffs/effects to her team. While not a powerful character in fighting she could be a problem with her “Aggressive Negotiations” and spread debuffs on her opponents.

Watto

Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes

This might be a little of a stretch to include in the game but there could be a use for the Toydarian junk dealer.  He could not be associated with a specific faction or even a light or dark side.  Watto could introduce a gambling element to his character or team he is fighting with.  Given the opportunity, Watto could play a game of chance that could either increase or decrease a team’s turn meter.  With the addition of Watto, there could be a potential of adding pod-racing characters like Sebulba into the mix.
