Could a new Daredevil project be coming to the MCU? Well, according to Murphy’s Multiverse and KC Walsh (via Twitter) that’s a Bingo! The beloved Marvel character saw a huge bump in general-population popularity due to the hit Netflix series. That show ran for three seasons, before it was unceremoniously canceled to keep Netflix from competing with Disney+. There was much outrage from the fans. However, this past December saw the MCU Prime (I said it!) debut of two of the former series’ stars, Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox. The former showed up as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (sorta) in Hawkeye on Disney+, while the latter hit the big screen like a ton of bricks (heh…) as Matt Murdoch/Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Take that and some choice words from Cox himself, and you can start seeing a trail leading to potential treasure.
What Has Been Said
Murphy’s Multiverse, purveyors of fine scoops and rumors, tipped us off about a new production company, Blind Faith Productions. That seems like a good codename for the Daredevil character as his Catholic faith and physical blindness play massive roles in his life. It’s a bit on the nose, but we like it. Also, there’s that time Marvel head, Kevin Feige, said to expect to see Daredevil “everywhere” while promoting No Way Home. So does this mean we’re getting a new Daredevil show? Not yet. There are a lot of upcoming shows, from She-Hulk to Echo, that he could appear in. That would be “everywhere,” right? And that brings us to KC Walsh’s recent Tweet:
Whoops, I messed that up, looks like my source said late this year, but I did ask Disney and they denied it, but it wouldn’t be the first, second or third time they denied something to me to be revealed later https://t.co/UJlNgb4STi pic.twitter.com/8cAI1GyCZX

Okay, okay. You have our attention. Walsh’s name is familiar to many that cover scoops, or just read about them, and that’s due to a decent hit record. So, take it with a grain of salt, but maybe the fancy salt. Personally, I didn’t think Daredevil would get his own show again, but I saw him as a new Nick Fury or Agent Coulson for Disney+ shows with an occasional part in a movie. I hope it’s both.
