A Day to Die with Mohamed Karim and Bruce Willis

Mohamed Karim had a dream come true with acting alongside super action star Bruce Willis in the crime action film A Day to Die.

The cast also included Frank Grillo, Kevin Dillon, Brook Butler, and Leon. Wes Miller directed the movie from the screenplay written by Rab Berry and Scott Mallace.

Here is the official synopsis:

Ex-military ops officer Conner Connolly (Kevin Dillon) has one day to pay $2 million in reparations to a local gang leader in order to save his kidnapped wife. With her life on the line, Conner must recruit his old crew, led by Brice Mason (Frank Grillo), to pull off a series of dangerous heists to repay the money he owes and settle a score with the city’s corrupt police chief (Bruce Willis). In a race against time, the crew must rely on their tactical training and brotherhood to save themselves and those who matter most.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with Egyptian actor Mohamed Karim. He told us about he was fortunate to play Detective Reynolds, who was not a stereotypical role for certain actors. Also, he spoke about his experience on the set, acting alongside Bruce Willis, and his transition into acting from a medical career.

Mohamed Karim is an established film and television actor in Egypt. He garnered huge success with hosting the Middle East version of The Voice on the MBC channels. For the British film Facebook Romance, he earned the Best Actor award at the Monaco International Film Festival. Other film credits included Egyptian films Shahata’s Store and Stolen Kisses. He made his American debut with A Score to Settle that starred Nicolas Cage. A Day to Die is his second film in the United States.

A Day to Die is currently in select theaters and On Demand today.
