In two-weeks time the current darling of a galaxy far, far away, The Mandalorian will return with its highly anticipated second season. Recently, Disney did some fairly heavy reorganization and stated their new focus would be on streaming content.

What many of hope that means is Disney+ will likely be the home for tons and tons of goodies. With many of the Star Wars related. The man who is the Mando, Pedro Pascal, recently spoke with Variety and gave his thoughts on a hypothetical Mandalorian film, You can check out what he had to say below.

“I think that the work is so beautiful that I would love for that to be held by a big screen experience. But it seems to work so well that also I’m not sure it’s something that I would want corrupted by any kind of change, you know? I mean, I certainly know that the challenge can be met. It’s not like these people don’t have the experience. If anybody can do it, they can!”

I’m not necessarily opposed to this idea, but I’m not exactly for it either.  What that means is if Lucasfilm Made a Mandalorian movie, of course, I would watch it, but I say keep it on the small screen. Television is a much better platform for storytelling. And as they say, if it ain’t broke…

Mando is a fantastic show, which may someday be looked back upon as the show that saved Star Wars. So please, just leave it be. Favreau, Filoni, and their team continue to do what they’ve been doing, this is the way, and it’s awesome.
