Another sexual assault allegation against disgraced former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been brought forth. The accusation comes from overseas and will be the tenth accusation to come out of the United Kingdom against Weinstein. The alleged assault happened in London during the 1990s.
You can read a statement from the U.K. Police below:
“Officers from the Met’s Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command have received allegations of sexual assault from 10 victims under Operation Kaguyak. On 8 February, an allegation was received that the man sexually assaulted a woman (Victim 10) in Westminster in the mid-1990s.”
Weinstein was a prominent figure in Hollywood for decades before his life started to spiral out of control.
The initial allegations against Weinstein created a domino effect, leading more and more women to come out against him and seeing several other notable celebrities being accused of similar activities, including Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey and comedian Louie C.K., among several others. This latest allegation is just the newest in a long list of accusers.
The alleged disgraceful actions of Weinstein have led to a total revamping of the company that bears his name, which you can read about in the related section just above.
