A New Rumor Has Evan Peters Playing The Son Of Ace Ventura, Alllllllrighty Then!

A new rumor going from the outlet GiantFreakinRobot going around says the idea of a third Ace Ventura movie is being thrown around. According to the outlet’s source, Evan Peters is being considered to play the son of Ace Ventura. Like most rumors, not much else is known beyond Peters’ rumored casting.

I can’t say Peters would be the first person to come to mind if I were asked to cast the son of the world’s greatest pet detective. Though I’d have to give him the benefit of the doubt until I see otherwise.

I haven’t watched Ace Ventura in quite a while. I’m not exactly sure how it would hold up. Though in my younger days, being quite naive to film as an art form, I enjoyed the films. It was the time of Jim Carrey and his unusual comedic face-aking abilities. Carrey’s had a string of successful comedies during the 1990s before he showed the world there was a different, dramatic side to him.

Would I watch Ace Ventura 3 with Evan Peters as the lead? Absolutely. If for nothing else than pure morbid curiosity. I would likely watch no matter who was cast, but now that the idea of Peters in the role has been put out there, I kind of want to see it. What I won’t watch is something on the level of Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Jr.
