Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline. I had the opportunity to connect with the voices of Mufasa: The Lion King, Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr. They both talked about finding their place in the circle of life for their characters. They also discussed the logistics of doing the voice and shared the set up they had while recording with a little “no shoes” humor.
