Some plans for The Child in The Mandalorian may have been revealed. We are now through Chapter 12 and this week’s episode gave us some new story developments. We also got a new cast member in the Imperial Officer who told Moff Gideon about the tracker on the Razor Crest. Now the actor’s (Katy O’Brian) management company has sent out the following social media post. Check it out first and then we will discuss.

This post tells us that O’Brian’s unnamed character will be back for further episodes. However, it also heavily hints that The Child will be sending time with the Imperials this season. One of the prevailing theories from fans, including my The Cantina co-host Kyle Malone and I, is that The Child will end up being captured. Kyle’s and my own thoughts were that with three episodes to go after Chapter 13, having The Child be taken would provide some great tension. If an Imperial officer got to spend time hanging out with ‘Baby Yoda’ then it could indicate they were on set together?

Now, this could be one of two things. Either O’Brian’s Management Company are so keen to promote here work they’ve given us a spoiler, or this is nothing. It is possible that O’Brian got to be on the same set as the puppet without sharing any meaningful scenes. We won’t know the answer to that riddle until we get there in the story. However, if I was to guess, which I will, I think there’s a solid chance Kyle and I were right. I just feel like The Child is going to end up with Gideon and the Empire this season and Mando (and pals) will have to mount a rescue mission.
