Alan Tudyk Confirms He Will Return As K-2SO In Cassian Andor Series To Air On Disney+

Where Andor Ends And Why Tony Gilroy Is Not Directing Season 2

As most of you are already well aware of, the second-ever live-action Star Wars television series is on its way. From what I understand the series will bring us some espionage from a galaxy far, far away. Diego Luna is set to star in the series reprising his role from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as Cassian Andor.

Today comes news from actor Alan Tudyk, who brilliantly voiced the droid K-2SO in Rogue One, is also set to reprise his role from the first-ever Star Wars Anthology film. While speaking at a Television Critics Association panel promoting his new series Resident Alien (airs on SyFy), Tudyk talked about returning as the smart-aleck droid

“Playing with Cassian, playing with Diego Luna and being in the world of Star Wars again. Especially after seeing The Mandalorian and seeing what they can do with a series, how much fun it is to just go into smaller stories and tell stories that way.”

Rogue One is still currently my favorite Star Wars film since the House of Mouse took over the franchise, with Mando probably being my favorite Star Wars content since that bittersweet day back in 2012. Excited for this series as well, and it shouldn’t be long before we see some footage or at least learn a little bit more about it in general.
