An Artifact In Solo: A Star Wars Story Could Hint At An Old Republic Film Series

In case you haven’t heard, the guys who brought fans one of the best television shows ever to grace the screen, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, are set to bring a series of films to the Star Wars universe. Of course, the biggest question among fans is where will D&D chose to set their movies. Some fans believe a recently discovered Easter Egg in Solo: A Star Wars Story may point to where Benioff and Weiss are heading with their trilogy. The Easter Egg can be found in the office of the film’s villain, Dryden Vos, and is an artifact from the Sith temple of Exar Kun. An excerpt from the book The Art Of Solo: A Star Wars Story follows below:

“The central desk, which represents the administrative seat of his power, is a bespoke piece of furniture. The stone base, that Dryden has plundered from the Sith temple of Exar Kun, is made from polished obsidian and decorated with carved hieroglyphs representing spells that protected its former home.”

Basically, this means that Disney has now made Exar Kun canon, and many believe this was for a very specific reason, that reason being that Benioff and Weiss are heading to the Old Republic for their series of films. If this turns out to be true, well, Disney would likely win back many fans that have been turned off of the series, as this is a time period fans have long wanted to see on the big screen.
