Alright, folks, prepare your best “going solo” jokes and quips about Han shooting first, because the trailer for the adult film parody of Solo: A Star Wars Story is here. The “plot” revolves around a freighter being destroyed and the spice cargo being thrown all over space, and whoever recovers it is set to receive a shit-ton of credits. Filled with the usual awful acting and some of the worst CGI in recent memory, Hand Solo: A DP XXX Parody is now something that exists.

There are many cringe-worthy moments in this trailer, but that seems to just come with the territory. Along with Hand Solo, the “film” also features parody versions of Lando Calrissian (that pansexual revelation could really factor in here couldn’t it?) and Boba Fett. This concept is nothing new, many major film releases receive this treatment. It is just another way for people to capitalize off of Star Wars.

As for the actual Solo film, it doesn’t seem to be doing any better at the box office, currently sitting at just under $180 million worldwide. The reason for the film’s poor performance is likely a combination of many factors, but one factor that cannot be ignored is the boycott, one that turned to have a much bigger impact than I anticipated.
