According to the latest Star Wars Barside Buzz, Anakin is rumored to appear in Episode 5 of Ahsoka. Hayden Christensen was confirmed for Ahsoka a long time ago. We even have some rumors of how Anakin will show up. However, one outlet is now claiming they know which episode will feature Ahsoka’s former Master.
Bespin Bulletin says that Anakin appears in Episode 5 of Ahsoka. Episode 5 was directed by showrunner Dave Filoni and is a lengthy episode time wise.
‘I have heard that Anakin Skywalker is set to appear in the fifth episode of the Ahsoka series with that episode being directed by the series creator, Dave Filoni, and reportedly sits at a 49 minute runtime. I’m sure many could assume this due to the director attached, but from what I’ve been hearing for the past week or so, those assumptions are correct and Anakin Skywalker will supposedly appear in Ahsoka episode five from what I’ve been hearing from sources.’

As you can see from the related section above, we do know a little about how and why we will see a character who is long dead by the time of Ahsoka. Rumors are that Ahsoka uses the World Between Worlds to look at possibilities. Those possibilities reinforce to Ahsoka that Anakin’s fate was destiny and could not have been altered. In one alt-timeline Ahsoka see’s a younger version of herself dueling Anakin on Mustafar, with Obi-Wan seemingly dead or injured. Whilst not directly confirmed, there seems to be a suggestion we may also see some live-action footage of the Rebels duel between Ahsoka and Vader also. Though, I guess Christensen isn’t needed for those scenes.
