New Andor set video and photo’s hit the web today from filming in Cleveleys, England. I think we can pretty much guess what is going on here now and it’s intriguing to me. Before I share the links, I’ll give my guesses. I think what we are seeing here is an Imperial attack on civilians, and there will be casualties. Cleveleys is a seaside town and that matches completely with the Shoretrooper armor you can see in the photos posted on Reddit’s r/StarWarsLeaks. I would not consider these images nor the video below SPOILERS as such, but you might, so be warned.
The video itself shows some being thrown by what one could assume is a blast of some kind. Then, a mo-cap suited actor drags two actors, who I assume are dead up a set of stairs. It almost looks to me like a K-S unit like K-S20. Check it out.

So I’m thinking the Empire attack a small town or village settlement on a coastline and kill a ton of innocents for whatever reason they had. What intrigues me the most is my hope and prediction for where the Andor series can go. On The Cantina , my co-host Kyle Malone and I have discussed what we think might happen in Andor. Kyle, and initially my own thoughts were seeing Andor tour the Galaxy recruiting spy’s. However, more recently, and knowing we have a season two of Andor to come eventually, I’ve changed my mind.

What I am hoping for instead is a show that tells the story of how Cassian ended up joining the Rebellion in the first place. As in, we see what he sees about how the Empire works and we empathize with how he was willing to risk it all for the Rebellion. Then, Season 2 would be Cassian being a spy and leading up to the events of Rogue One.
Now, whilst these new Andor set video and photos could back up my idea, they are in truth evidence of nothing. There are a million reasons any fan could think of for why the Empire is attacking Cleveleys, England. For a start, they just might not like the English? However, in a Galaxy far, far away this could be someone trying to get at Cassian just as easily. As I said up top though, it has intrigued me and ignited my imagination for something unexpected. We’ll see soon enough whether that’s the case.
