The Wire star Andre Royo has been added to the cast of James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow in an undisclosed role. Man of Tomorrow is the sequel to Gunn’s previous movie Superman. Set in the DCU, the film looks set to feature characters from Supergirl, Lanterns and the aforementioned Superman. We may even get some Peacemaker cast showing up? However, we wait and see on that front.
Just last week it was revealed at Adria Arjona (Andor) had been cast in a role for the film. Whether that role is Maxima or maybe even Wonder Woman remains to be seen. Now Gunn has revealed on Instagram that Andre Royo, who many fans claim was the heart of classic series The Wire, is now in the film.

We have no idea on which role Ryo is playing, nor how big a part it is? Gunn has worked with Royo before and welcomed the opportunity to work with him again on Man of Tomorrow. The main roles seems t be once cast some time ago, and well known. One would guess this is for something smaller but again, we have no true idea.
The focus of Man of Tomorrow will be on Superman (David Corenswet), Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) and Brainiac (Lars Eidinger), but there is room for more. Rumors have Milly Alcock showing up and Aarfon Pierre has already been confirmed.
