Check out the latest Star Wars rumors from the folks at MSW. The outlet says they have heard rumor of actor/director Andy Serkis cast in Andor. Now, the outlet does point out that they have no idea what role Serkis has been cast in. Obviously fans will wonder if this somehow means Snoke will make an appearance in Andor? However I find that highly unlikely given the timeline Andor is set. Andor is set before Rogue One, duh, so the idea of Snoke appearing before the events of ANH, when Palpatine is at the height of his powers, seems crazy.
Sure, it’s possible for Lucasfilm to do a bit of retconning when it comes to Snoke and they have already. The character is now officially a Force sensitive clone who was used as a puppet by Palpatine to control the First Order. If this was a rumor Snoke would appear in a post-Jedi show, like The Mandalorian or Ahsoka, then I’d be more receptive to the idea. However, if Serkis is indeed in Andor, my guess is a new character he’s playing, not attached to Snoke at all.
After all, it’s not like Serkis own voice will be in any way familiar to Snoke. Did Snoke sound like Klaue, or Gollum?

Andor remains a show we know very little about. However my best guess is that we will see Cassian go from civilian to Rebel spy across Season 1. I’m thinking Cassian sees the horrors of the Empire and is persuaded to ‘sign up’ as it were against them. Those early Rebellion days were hardly the same as what we saw in the OT after they destroyed the Death Star. As seen in Rogue One, the Rebellion was far more clandestine to begin with.
