One of the most successful movie universes out there at the moment has to be hands down the Conjuring universe. Their next film, The Nun, hits theaters on September 7th. One of their other franchises in the Conjuring universe, Annabelle, is looking close to making a third film.

Annabelle 3 would be produced by James Wan and Gary Dauberman would be once again on board to write and direct the film. He wrote the last two Annabelle films as well as The Nun, so he definitely knows the world the film is set in.

According to Omega Underground via Geeks Worldwide is reporting that New Line Cinema is looking to start shooting sometime this October in Los Angeles, California. The film would be focused on the homestead of The Warrens, which would possibly confirm the return of actors Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson.

Annabelle 3 would be set sometime shortly before the events of The Conjuring. The film would focus on what happened when the Warrens first brought the doll to their occult museum. The demon that possesses Annabelle doll then brings back the other artifacts that they had collected over the years like a horrific Night at the Museum.

Warner Bros. Pictures has not announced an official release date, but it is expected to haunt theaters sometimes late summer 2019. What do you think of another Annabelle film? Let us know in the comment section below!
