Apparently, Brad Pitt Doesn’t Want To Do An Ocean’s 14

These days, no property is dead. Even the ones that are. Give it a few years, and chances are it’ll at least be considered for another outing. We saw this with Ocean’s 11, a film that was already a remake of a famous Rat Pack film. The 2001 remake, which starred Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and countless others, went on to spawn two sequels and a female-centric spinoff film of sorts.

It seemed almost inevitable that there’d at least be one more outing, especially with some of the hints dropped about Danny Ocean in Ocean’s 8. But it doesn’t sound like Brad Pitt has any desire. last night at the National Board of Review awards, where Pitt won for Best Supporting Actor, he dropped a jokey line about his life goals.

“Be happy, stay healthy and not get into a financial situation where I have to do Ocean’s 14. We’ll see.”

Well, I can’t say I blame the guy. He’s gotten to the point in his career where he literally has nothing to prove and doesn’t need to take on any projects he doesn’t want to do. So, unless financially-obligated to do so…why would he?
