Aquaman: First Look At Nicole Kidman’s Atlanna

Entertainment Weekly today released their latest issue which has given us two stunning covers and stills from the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures’ film Aquaman starring Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera and Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna.

This is the first time we have had the opportunity to see Kidman in the role of Atlanna on the cover of the magazine as well as in a still inside the magazine. Check it out below! On the cover we see her standing behind Aquaman alongside Mera. On the still we can see her protecting a young Arthur Curry.

Atlanna is well known in the DC Universe as Aquaman and Orm’s mother. She made her first comic book appearance in DC Comics’ Adventure Comics #260 in May of 1959. She was created by Robert Bernstein and Ramona Fradon.

Now that we have seen some of these great stills, hopefully we can get a trailer soon to see these characters in action!

What are your thoughts on all these images so far? Let us know in the comment section below!
