Aquaman’s First Poster Shows Our Hero Chilling With The Fishies

Yes, this week will be the week of San Diego Comic-Con, but it also looks like it could very well be the week of Aquaman, should Warner Bros. play their cards right. Earlier today, director James Wan took to social media to show of a photo from the editing bay of the upcoming trailer, but now, we have a brand-new poster to gander at as we wait to see the hot fish-on-fish action we can expect.

Check out the new poster down below!

As you can see, home is calling to Aquaman in that new poster, with him summoning legions of sharks and whales, ready to take on the main foe of the movie…the audience. After all, Aquaman is a film with a lot riding on it. What better way to ensure a noble box-office haul than to threaten their very patrons?

All joking aside, it’s a fun little poster, and it does look like they’re trying very hard to make him look like a real badass. Additionally, if you glance at the poster very quickly and then look away, you may find that it looks like Aquaman is riding a shark, which I think would have made a cooler, if not laughable, poster. Maybe, next time, WB.

Okay, seriously, all joking aside now. You would not want to mess with Aquaman when he has this army present. What do you think of this poster? Sound off down below!

Aquaman hits theaters on December 21, 2018.
