The film has an all-star cast with Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables, The Dark Knight Rises), Jeremy Strong (Succession, The Trial of the Chicago 7), Banks Repeta (The Black Phone, The Devil All the Time), Jaylin Webb (David Makes Man, The Wonder Years), Tovah Feldshuh (Lady in the Water, Just My Luck), Ryan Sell (House of Cards), and Anthony Hopkins (The Silence of the Lambs, Hitchcock).
James Gray (Ad Astra, The Immigrant) wrote and directed the film.

Early buzz out of Telluride Film Festival has Armageddon Time as one of the top dramas this year. Some people are already pushing for awards, particularly for Jeremy Strong, the patriarch of the struggling family in the 1980s. With an all-star cast and a reputable director James Gray, it’s an easy call to put this film to be watched by award-winning cinema-goers.
Focus Features releases Armageddon Time in select theaters on Friday, October 28, followed by a nationwide release on Friday, November 11.
