Armor Wars Set To Film This April? Something Doesn’t Add Up

According to the latest Barside Buzz around Armor Wars, it seems Marvel wants a director soon and a Justin Hammer return

Is Armor Wars set to film this April? Maybe, but there is one wrinkle in the sheets with this one. According to a new report from Productionlist, Armor Wars is set to begin shooting on April 5th this year. I have to say this one surprised me, but I have never found a reason to doubt the outlet yet for shoot dates. I guess I am surprised because recent comments from Kevin Feige never mentioned Armor Wars.

Check out this quote from Feige when he spoke to The Companion in an article published only yesterday.

“On March 19, as you know The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be debuting,” Feige announces. “June 11 will be the debut date for Loki and, of course, soon after that, we’ll have our first animated series, which is What If …?. We are finishing up Ms. Marvel, and we’re also shooting Hawkeye currently. In a few weeks, we start She-Hulk and a week or so after that, we start Moon Knight in addition to our features.”

If Armor Wars was also starting in a few weeks wouldn’t Feige have mentioned it? It’s not like Feige has been secretive when it comes to any of the other shows mentioned here? So this one is a little weird to me, I guess we shall just have to wait and see?

Productionlist also had a short summary on their listing for Armor Wars. That summary also doesn’t make much sense, check it out.

Don Cheadle returns as James Rhodes aka War Machine in Armor Wars, about Tony Stark’s worst fear coming true: what happens when his tech falls into the wrong hands. Stark discovers that someone has been stealing his Iron Man tech and selling it to supervillains. He decides he must do whatever it takes to reacquire — or destroy — the stolen tech.

I’m pretty sure Tony Stark won’t be discovering anything, given that he’s deceased, expired, no longer amongst the living, etc. You can see my confusion here, as even replacing Stark with Rhodes would not work in the context of this sentence.

Judge for yourself on this one. All I will say is that I’ll be surprised if Productionlist have this one majorly wrong. Yet, it doesn’t make sense for Feige to not mention Armor Wars? So is Armor Wars set to film this April?
