French director Camille Delamarre certainly has a keen eye for directing action films. With Assassin Club, Delamarre returns to the straight-up action genre filled with bullets, explosions, and stunts.
International superstar Henry Golding (G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes, Crazy Rich Asians) headlines the film as a master assassin forced out of retirement to hunt down equally-skilled killers worldwide. The rest of the cast includes Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad, Fast X), Jimmy-Jean Louis (Tears of the Sun, Heroes), Noomi Rapace (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), and Sam Neill (Jurassic Park).
Here is the full synopsis:
The hunter becomes the hunted when an elite assassin (Golding) is given his final contract: to kill seven people around the world—only to discover the targets are equally skilled assassins hired to kill him. His only shot to survive is to uncover the mysterious mastermind behind the deadly plot before it’s too late.
