As announced by Marvel Studios today, we have a new series on the horizon. Assembled, a documentary series about the making of MCU projects will kick off on March 12th on Disney+. The first part of this Assembled series will focus in the making of WandaVision. However, it seems a good bet that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will get it’s own Assembled once the show has finished airing. Check out the announcement from Disney+ below.

Star Wars fans will remember how interesting The Gallery was for The Mandalorian Season 1. However Season 2 only had a one-off Christmas special. Hopefully instead, Marvel Studios will make an Assembled series for each new project they make. One wonders if we could even get Assembled series based upon the movies? I guess we will find out more on that front nearer Black Widow’s release, if that even happens as planned? However, per the statement above it appears to be the case.

I’m genuinely looking forward to the making of WandaVision. Once we have seen the shows finale, there will be so many questions and for once Marvel can give fans the answers they want after the fact. The Assembled branding (and the statement) indicates to me this series will be an ongoing project. And movies are mentioned, so hopefully as said we get one of these for everything MCU related.
The last time I was talking about something like this it was for Marvel Studios: Legends. Now that is content I have zero interest in seeing again going forward. In fact I live in hope that we won’t get one of those for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Clips shows are the lowest form of TV for me. Now, a revealing and interesting documentary exploring how an MCU project was put together? That is up my street, so I am looking forward to Assembled greatly.
