Atari Unveils Spooky Reimagining Of Classic Game With HAUNTED HOUSE

Today Atari is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of Haunted House, a chilling revival of a beloved classic. This haunting adventure, which seamlessly blends dynamic roguelite features, stealth-based gameplay, and eerie boss battles, will be available on PC and consoles later this year.

Gamers will have the chance to experience a sneak peek of Haunted House at the Brazilian Independent Games (BIG) Festival in São Paulo, where the first game trailer will be showcased. As the largest gaming event in Latin America, the BIG Festival is expected to draw over 500,000 visitors from June 28 to July 2, 2023. Atari will be present with four demo stations in the Panorama Mundo section on the show floor. Additionally, the developers of Haunted House, Orbit Studio, will be featured live on stage as part of the festival’s programming.

In Haunted House, players will assume the role of Lyn Graves, the spirited niece of the renowned treasure hunter Zachary Graves. Accompanied by her closest allies, Lyn visits her uncle’s mansion, only to discover that it has been overrun by ghouls and monsters who quickly snatch away her friends. To rescue her uncle and companions and vanquish the supernatural foes, Lyn must locate and reassemble the shattered pieces of a magical urn.

Each shard of the urn is zealously guarded by a bone-chilling boss. With its 3D isometric stealth gameplay, Haunted House challenges players to think on their feet to overcome each terrifying obstacle. When Lyn succumbs to a shadowy specter, she is transported back to the entrance of the Haunted House, where a completely new floor layout and enemy placement await her, ensuring a unique experience with each playthrough.
