Check Out The Batman: The Animated Series Remastered Opening

Arguably one of the best Batman adaptations to date will soon be released on Blu-Ray, Batman: The Animated Series. Warner Bros. has released a remastered version of the show’s original intro, which you can check out at the top of this article. The show is loved by many fans of the character, and yours truly would be one of them. Watching the intro again myself, it brings up a lot of nostalgia and memories as I am sure it will for many of you.

Batman: The Animated Series was hands down my favorite show when I was younger. Coming a few years after the Michael Keaton Batman, the show gave me a way to further explore (on screen) the world I had only had a small glimpse of in the 1989 film. The show was completely different than any other cartoons I watched at the time, being much darker and dealing with more adult themes. Anyone who grew up in the era knows that the world was much different, and there wasn’t a lot of this type of content out there. The show also introduced folks who hadn’t read the comics to many lesser known Batman villains.

Batman: The Animated Series Blu-Ray release was recently pushed back two weeks but will be available on October 30.
