Continuing with more Justice League news, during an interview with Chris Van Vliet of WSVN-TV, Ben Affleck, who as most of us know plays Batman in the upcoming film was asked what he thought of the amalgamation of his name and the character he plays, Batfleck:
“That’s a sort of common phenomenon that’s happened now, of like joining everybody’s name, like, and it started off just being, you know like names of couples, Brangelina or whatever, and then it became like yeah, took off from there. I don’t spend too much time thinking about it one way or the other.”

While Affleck hasn’t lovingly adopted the name, he doesn’t seem bothered by it either. I for one was never against a Batfleck, and while I think Affleck’s true talents lie behind the camera, I have never thought of him as a terrible actor and never once doubted he could pull off a really good Batman.
While others may disagree with me, I though Affleck did a fine job with his portrayal of the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. While the film had its issues, Affleck was not one of them in my opinion. As for the name Batfleck, I sort of like it, and use it to refer to him often.
