Next week will be the debut of the first film from Warner Bros. Animation and DC for 2021. This Elseworld Batman story takes us back to the 1970s in Batman: Soul of the Dragon. With its digital release on January 12th and its 4K Combo Pack and Blu-ray on the 26th, they have released a clip to get us ready for the film.
This week’s spotlight is Ben Turner aka Bronze Tiger. In Batman: Soul of the Dragon he is voiced by Michael Jai White. Who you may remember from Spawn, Arrow, and The Dark Knight. In the clip below, martial arts expert Ben Turner unleashes his rage against a group of criminals in a warehouse. This is another step in his evolution to becoming Bronze Tiger.

Batman: Soul of the Dragon is an all-new original animated film. Here we will see Batman have to face a deadly menace from his past. He will have to reach out to his old mentor, O-Sensei, and reach out for help from three of his former classmates. The mentioned above Ben Turner, Richard Dragon, and Lady Shiva. All of who had become world-renowned martial artists. Together they will battle monsters from this world and beyond.
I am looking forward to this film as it will hopefully bring us classic martial arts vibes. Also, I am curious about the amount of violence in the film because it is rated “R” specifically because of the violence. Overall it looks like a good time!
