Cesar Millan returns to National Geographic with Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog. Most of us remember the dog trainer from the popular television series Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan. Now he is back to help pet owners at a time when dog adoption is at its highest.
The dog whisperer immigrated to the United States at the age of 21. He didn’t let a language barrier stop him from fulfilling his dream to work with animals. Millan learned English and got his first job at a pet groomer and created a Psychology Center for large breed dogs in Los Angeles.
Thanks to a Los Angeles Times profile, he started working for MPH Entertainment to create the Dog Whisperer pilot. After it’s ninth season the series came to an end but his career continued. He has been involved in books, founded the Cesar Millan Foundation that helps give support to shelters and organizations that assist with rescuing, rehabilitating and finding new homes for some of the abused and abandoned four legged friends. Millan has continued to be a television icon making appearances as himself in shows like Bones, Saturday Night Live and film The Back-up Plan. The canine trainer is back in a new journey in Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog.
Cesar Millan is back! The world and its “pet parents” have changed since the dog behavior expert made his television debut 16 years ago. Pet owners across America need help, and Cesar is ready to show them the way. Get ready for a new look and a newly energized and exuberant leader of the pack!
