Bigfoot Famous | A Fun Chat With Writer/Directors Sam Milman and Peter Vass [Exclusive Interview]

Bigfoot Famous

Out this past week was the dark comedy from Gravitas Ventures Bigfoot Famous. For me, the grabber was Bigfoot of course as I am a fan of the legendary creature that so many have claimed to have seen in the woods. But I ended up having a fun time with the film poking fun at the crazy world of influencers. Who we all know are sometimes over the top and annoying.

Bigfoot Famous

Writer and director Sam Milam and Peter Vass do a great job at really turning up what we all find so annoying from influencers. In Bigfoot Famous we follow an influencer that is losing her grip on her popularity. As she struggles to stay relevant, a viral video of the legendary creature, Bigfoot emerges on the web. Desperate not to fall out of touch, she goes on a mission to find Bigfoot herself and regain her fame. Because who wouldn’t want to make a viral video with a Sasquatch?

Bigfoot Famous was filmed during the pandemic between the Redwoods and Los Angeles. It stars Steph Barkley, as Confess. Chris Kleckner as Copshop. Anthony Ma as Sandal. Along with Lauren Howard Hayes and Marlon Webb.

With the release of Bigfoot Famous last week, LRM Online’s Emmanuel Gomez spoke with Sam Milam and Peter Vass. They are the writer/director for the film. During our conversation, we talked about what is so attractive about a creature like Bigfoot. Speaking of which, they share some fun stories about the fun Bigfoot costume which according to the legend, has not been washed or cleaned since their shoot. It seemed like a really fun shoot.
