Today we share some new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever set photos. They show Okoye and Shuri at MIT, where filming is taking place. We already knew that both Letitia Wright (Shuri) and Danai Gurira (Okoye) were at location, but this is the first shot we have seen of their costumes. I would have to say, the pair are wearing some questionable fashion choices here. Maybe this is the fashion in Wakanda but I’m not digging Shuri’s 80’s Michael Jackson look?

Though we do not know why the pair are visiting MIT, one would assume it has something to do with the fact Riri Williams goes there? Williams, played by Dominique Thorne has already been spotted filming herself.

The plot for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is tightly under wraps, though we do have several rumors. According to insiders I trust, Tenoch Huerta is playing Namor, the ruler of Atlantis. Wakanda and Atlantis have some conflict history in the comics, so one wonders what may set them apart in the movie? The Atlanteans cannot remain out and out bad guys because Earth is their home too. Equally Namor, whilst no cape wearing hero is also hardly a villain for long. One may even have expected Namor, T’Challa’s replacement and the likes of Doctor Strange and Reed Richards to form the Illuminati one day. That could still happen.
However, if there is to be a conflict between these two most powerful Human civilizations in Marvel’s Earth, what causes it? Surely the Wakandan’s would be of the least concern to Atlantis compared to all the other Nations? Is it then Wakanda simply taking the mantle of protecting the rest of the surface dwellers?
Sorry, I’m just speculating out loudly, I have no answers for you. However an intrigued by these rumors and where Ironheart herself factors in to Wakanda Forever.
