According to the latest Barside Buzz, Blade may have a big role in animated series Marvel Zombies, and it may be Ali’s voice. The initial information comes from CWGST on her subscriber service. Sadly that seems to be Toast’s main avenue for leaks these days. However, it was reposted by another Marvel focussed account as you can see below.

This seems to track with a few other smaller bits we’ve heard before. As for Mahershala Ali, will he be voicing Blade in the series? Normally you’d say it is unlikely as live-action actors rarely do their animated character voices. Though, it would also be wrong to say none of them cross over. So far Ali has voiced the character exactly once since he was announced as the MCU’s Blade. An off -screen voice heard in the post-credit scene of Eternals when he warns Dane Whitman about touching the Ebony Blade.

Howe very interestingly KC Walsh, who likes to add comments of back up to more prolific leakers did so for Toasts claim. His tweet is now deleted, (which may mean he got this wrong,) but he did briefly claim Ali would voice the character in Marvel Zombies. It could be he was told that was wrong after posting or a source got cold feet. I’m not sure, but he said it and then deleted it.
Probably better to just wait and see on that side. However Toast has a good record and it definitely passes the smell test for me currently.
