Ready for The Stormlight Archive and its fourth entry Rhythm of War?

Rhythm of War, the fourth volume in The Stormlight Archive, is officially done. Well, mostly. It’s currently going through a copy edit, but for all intents and purposes, it’s finished. At the very least, the book has been in a good enough shape for author Brandon Sanderson to post online. Well, at least that was the plan before they had to change. While you can’t read the first six chapters of the book as Sanderson states in the video, you can read the first one along with the prologue online.

But fret not, as Sanderson thinks you can still enjoy Chapter 7 without it. That’s right, Sanderson himself took to Comic-Con@Home to read an excerpt from Rhythm of War. Take a look at the reading down below in all its glory. It goes without saying that minor spoilers apply, but the setup is that Kaladin is engaging in a rescue in his hometown from the new Fused called Singers.

Rhythm of War will be coming out on November 17, 2020. Prior to that, fans will get more of a taste of Roshar in the novella Dawnshard, which hits in October.
