Breaking Bad: El Camino Full Trailer Is Pure Visual Storytelling

Both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul get plenty of credit for the engaging stories they tell as well as the rounded characters they create. However, one thing they do not get enough credit for is their ability to convey mountains and mountains of information from the visuals they put to screen. It’s something the filmmakers started in Breaking Bad, improved in Better Call Saul, and have carried over to El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

Today, we got a full trailer for the Netflix original event film, which comes from director Vince Gilligan, who created the aforementioned shows. And good god is this thing gorgeous. Check it out down below!

The trailer has only two lines of dialogue to it, and that’s really all it needs. over the course of its two-minute runtime, we see the circumstances Jesse finds himself in as well as the friendship of his boys Badger and Skinny Pete.

As expected, Jesse seems ripped apart by guilt and a desire for revenge, though as evidenced by his moment from the beetle, his humanity still lingers.

Is it October 11th yet?
