Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 6 is almost here, and I remember every damn day that this was the season that almost didn’t happen. For a hot second, this glorious show was canceled on its home network of FOX. But its cancellation did not last, and it was quickly picked up by the kind folks over at NBC.
For those who haven’t been rewatching previous seasons on the regular like normal human people (or maybe just like me), then they have your back and have released a whole two-minute-long video that shows off footage from previous seasons while giving us just what we need to move forward into the new one.

Also, one cool thing actor Andy Samberg does is point out the show continuing on in the grand tradition of The Office, Parks and Recreation, and 30 Rock, further cementing that Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s moving over to NBC was the right move for it. It is now at home alongside other TV greats, as it rightfully should.
Will Captain Holt ultimately become the commissioner of the precinct? We don’t have much longer to wait! Brooklyn Nine-Nine premieres on Thursday, January 10 at 9/8c on NBC.
