Bruce Willis NEEDS To Cameo On Brooklyn Nine-Nine — Andy Samberg Pleas

If you’ve watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine for an extended period of time, you know that Andy Samberg’s character, Jake Peralta, is unhealthily obsessed with the classic Christmas film Die Hard. There are entire episodes dedicated to that movie, including one where Jake handles a hostage situation inside a shop, not unlike John McClane, and another where he spends way too much time taking pictures around Nakatomi Plaza. Heck, even Reginald VelJohnson showed up in the series as himself.

Basically, the movie is a huge part of what makes Jake Peralta tick, and any chance to bring in Die Hard is a chance worth taking…including bringing in Bruce Willis himself.

“My character is obsessed with Die Hard,” Samberg told Jimmy Fallon on last night’s episode of The Tonight Show, “so we’ve long said getting Bruce Willie would be like a huge thing…I mean, I’ve appealed many times for this. I think maybe he’s waiting for the end to surprise us and shock the world, or he hates me.”

Given Bruce Willis’ track record, I’d settle on “hates him,” or “strictly uninterested.” That being said, throw enough money his way (which TV generally doesn’t have) or make a big enough deal about it, and maybe Big Willie will actually be willing to slum it onto network TV for the first time in what I assume is years. Personally, I think this needs to happen, and my appreciation for Bruce Willis will be directly related to whether or not he does this.

So, what do you think? Is this a possibility, or just a long shot? Let us know your thoughts down below!
