Bryan Cranston And Tracee Ellis Ross Appear In Parody Of The Shining Mountain Dew Super Bowl Commercial

With the big game coming up this Sunday…I’m sorry, allow me to clarify the sports contest I am referring to as I forgot the majority of all who read the site are a bunch of…

I am of course talking about the Super Bowl which will take place down in Miami and see gunslinging quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers led by Tom Brady’s padawan, Handsome Jimmy Garropolo.

With the Super Bowl, comes a tradition that in my opinion used to be held in higher regard, the commercials. For a period of time viewers would get the best commercials they had seen all year. It also felt like the companies were competing for their own trophy, in addition to advertising their product.

This year Mountain Dew has gone all out and grabbed actor Bryan Cranston and Tracee Ellis Ross to star in their Super Bowl ad. You can see the pair in a parody of The Shining up above.

Cranston is known by many other names, Hal Wilkerson, Dr. Tim Whatley, and of course Walter White. Now it seems he may have, at least in some way has now added a version of Jack Torrance to that list.
