Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan confirms they’re working on a Jedi: Survivor sequel at a recent convention appearance. This would be the third game in the Jedi series from studio Respawn. Jedi: Survivor was itself a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. There were plmnerty of rumors that success of the second game meant the studio were in very early development of a third title. Now that those rumors are conformed by Cal Kestis himself.
Monaghan and co-star of the game Tina Ivlev both featured last weekend at Ocala Comic Con. The video below shows the full panel with the video game actors. However, at one point (43:00 roughly) Monaghan had this to say:
“We’re working on the third. And we’re in the process of doing it right now. That’s a big undertaking, and it’s been some conversations so far. Hopefully when all things are said and done we’ll be able to go in and make something really cool for you guys again.”
I’m sure fans of the first two games will be pleased with this news. I myself have still to have a shot of the first game, despite my son owning them both. It’s not really my type of game, but I know Shockey from LRM really enjoys them.

I assume sales are going well on the second game which only released this year. If not, I can’t see why they’d already be looking at early development on a third game.
Not knowing the story I can’t speculate on where the next game might go. I know there are some fans who hope to see Cal eventually end up in the MandoVerse timeline so there is a chance he joins the live-action shows and movies. Not knowing the character well enough, I’ve no real stake in that hope. However, at this point, if it works, why not?
What do you think as Cal Kestis actor Cameron Monaghan confirms they’re working on a Jedi: Survivor sequel? Thoughts below as always.
