Last Month LRM went against the online flow with regards to the Captain Marvel 2 working title. Up until that point, almost everyone was saying that the working title of Ant-Man and The Wasp Quantumania would be Goat Rodeo. Then we at LRM piped up to say that in fact that was the working title of Captain Marvel 2. After this we had many fans message us to tell us we were wrong. After all, LRM has no record with Marvel scoops, so I totally get it.

However, we now have a corroboration of this report from a Marvel insider that I do trust and so should you if we are comparing hit rates. Murphy’s Multiverse ran a report yesterday saying they have come across the same information as we had. The outlet was also able to give a working title for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, which is Dust Bunny. Again, it’s worth stressing that these working titles mean almost nothing. As Murphy’s Multiverse also points out, Captain Marvel 2 will have some filming in New Jersey next week under that Goat Rodeo title. Although, no actors are expected to be present for this.

However, if you are near New Jersey and see any signs for Goat Rodeo, you’ll know it’s really Captain Marvel 2. It may be a little while yet before actors start shooting for this movie. We know that alongside the returning Brie Larson, Captain Marvel 2 will also feature Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, as well as Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Outside of that we are in to rumor territory and so far there hasn’t been much buzz around Captain Marvel 2. In fact, far less than for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania which is rumored to have Kang as the antagonist played by Jonathan Majors. Majors is also a possibility to make his first appearance in the Loki Disney+ show coming on June 11th.

So now we have corroboration that the Captain Marvel 2  working title is indeed Goat Rodeo. A small win for LRM, but we celebrate successful exclusives all the same. Leave any thoughts you have about Captain Marvel 2 of Quantumania in the usual spot below.
