Carrie Coon To Voice Proxima Midnight In Infinity War

We are less than two weeks away from the highly anticipated film from Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War. Being that this film includes almost every superhero from Marvel Studios’ long run of films starting from Iron Man and the latest being Black Panther, it’s evident that it’s an immense cast of actors and actresses to take on Josh Brolin’s Thanos. But that does not mean that they are done announcing cast members.
Thanks to RadioTimes.com we now know that Fargo and The Leftovers actress Carrie Coon will be voicing a the only female of Thanos’ Black Order, Proxima Midnight. The news was also confirmed by director Joe Russo who said, “Carrie Coon is Proxima Midnight. Further confirmation was provided through Carrie Coon’s Twitter account.

In the comic books Proxima Midnight is the wife of Corvus Glaive who is also a member of Thano’s Black Order. She made a cameo appearance in Marvel’s The New Avengers Vol. 3 #8 and her full first appearance in Marvel’s Infinity #1 in October of 2013. She was created by Johnathan Hickman. She possesses a spear that has the power of a time distorted sun and coated in toxin.
Besides Corvus Glavie, we have the identity of the rest of the cast who will make up the Black Order. With the film so close to being released, we should expect that real soon. Many are expecting this to be Peter Dinklage as he has confirmed to be playing someone in the film.
