One of the only other projects in recent memory that rivals The Batman’s time in development hell is the adaptation of the popular video game franchise, Halo. Both projects are moving forward and a normal pace now, but fans have been waiting for a live-action Master Chief for some time now.
Today we have actual photo evidence that they have been working on bringing us this series. A cast photo shows the stars of the series and was posted by the series’ official Twitter account, you can check it out below.

Halo was and still is quite popular, with a hardcore fan base that is just frothing at the mouth for this series. Myself, I was never what you would call a hardcore fan, but I did play the s**t out of the game when it first came out, and thoroughly enjoyed it. So, even not being a super fan of the franchise, I am still pretty excited for this series and will surely be checking it out when the times comes.
Pablo Schreiber (The Wire, Orange is the New Black) will star as the iconic Master Chief and Natascha McElhone (Californication, Designated Survivor) as Cortana, along with many others. The series is expected to debut sometimes in 2021.
