Who among us hasn’t thought of dressing up as one of the Ghostbusters for Halloween? The kids from Stranger Things did it, and did it well. Over the years, we’ve seen a number of replicas of the Ghostbusters’ proton packs, but none as detailed as this latest one.

Today comes one of the finest examples of a proton pack replica and perhaps one of the finest replicas of any cinematic prop. A group effort between the companies ANOVOS, Ghost Corps, and SonyArchives, this new proton pack is a wonderful site to behold for fans of the franchise. “Using only the best molding techniques and the finest of platinum silicones to minimize mold shrinkage, our team employed ingenious techniques to painstakingly capture every detail, warp, and crack of the original Spengler pack. Upon completion of the molding process and returning the original pack to the Archives, the same team took to the careful process of recreating the “master” paint sample. Matching the actual pack, the movie replica recreates the same textures and weathered appearance dent for dent and scratch for scratch befitting the Legacy replica standard.”

I love stuff like this, If I ever won the lottery my house would be full of high-quality replicas such as this. And considering the price, one may need to win the lottery to shell out the dinero that ANOVOS is asking. This proton pack truly is a nerd work of art, but like most works of art, this piece will cost you a pretty penny, to the tune of about $3500. However, ANOVOS does offer a build-it-yourself kit for the measly price of $950.
