Chloë Grace Moretz Has Had Talks With Marvel Studios – Who Hasn’t?

As confirmed in a recent interview by the Kick-Ass actress, Chloë Grace Moretz has had talks with Marvel Studios about possible roles. However, we should not read too much into this, as said in my title above, who hasn’t, right? First off, let’s look at what Moretz had to say when she spoke to ComicBook.

When asked by the outlet if she’s ever met with Marvel, the actor confirmed she has.

“Yeah, we’ve talked a little bit about it. I mean, I think for me, I would be really interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC, and jumping into more of the darker side of the role. I love a superhero. I think that’d be really fun, too, but I think it’s just all about finding the one that really matches what you’re wanting to get across, and the scope of the character. I think it’d be really fun if it was the right role and the right project.”

As the outlet points out, this could be recent, or could have been for something ages ago that went to someone else?

Equally we also know that Marvel reaches out to actors they like and lays some groundwork long before they have specific roles in mind. Keanu Reeves has had chats with Kevin Feige and still hasn’t made an MCU appearance. Same story with Giancarlo Esposito. We’ve also heard stories of stars who had initial talks with Marvel that led nowhere, then all of a sudden, they wanted them for part.

Therefore, this story does not mean we should be trying to work out who Moretz will play in phase 6. At least, not yet anyway. However at the same time I wouldn’t bet against Moretz showing u in the MCU eventually, once the right part comes along for both parties.
