The vast majority of us nerds feel that Thor: Ragnarok was exactly the breath of fresh air the franchise needed. The film made the character much more fun than he had been in the previous installments, and the overall tone of the film was just that, fun.
It has now come out that a couple of the film’s stars didn’t feel the same way. The two in question are Mark Ruffalo and Tessa Thompson, and you can check out what Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, had to say about it while speaking at the ACE Comic-Con convention below.
“I remember Mark Ruffalo looking at me and saying, ‘Are we wrecking this movie? Are we destroying these characters?’ Tessa was like, ‘What am I apart of? What am I doing?’ I wanted it to work so badly and I knew that we left everything on the field, so I had such a positive feeling about our approach to making that movie.”

No, Mr. Ruffalo, quite the opposite in my opinion. While there was nothing bad about the characters, they were vastly improved. I for one (and I can’t imagine I’m alone in this) am glad they went through with it and everything went down the way it did, as Ragnarok is now one of my favorite films from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, along with the first Guardians film.
