The deal between Disney and Fox is finally and comepletely done. The X-Men are on their way home (though it may be a little while before we see them in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). Along with the X-Men and the Fantastic Four comes Deadpool. Yes, the Merc with the Mouth, Deadpool is now technically a Disney character, think about that for a second, awesome, isn’t it?
To make Deadpool feel welcome in his new environment, Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the MCU, which is also under the Disney umbrella, welcomed the wise cracking mercenary with an Instagram post showing what the offspring of Hemsworth’s Thor and Deadpool might look like. You can check it out below.

While Deadpool can vulgar, crude, and also murders people, he does so while wearing an Adventure Time watch and a Hello Kitty backpack. This is the side of the character that has a sweetness about him, where he could walk around the Disney parks sporting the mouse ears and interact with children, and families and it would be just fine. After all, while he is a mercenary, he is child-like in many ways.
While fans would be disappointed in a Disneyfied Deadpool, I believe they would accept a lighter version of him in MCU films, as long as his own efforts were still the same uncensored Deadpool we have grown to love over the course of his two films.
Can Deadpool fit in with the rest of the characters over at Disney? Let us know in the comments down below!
