For a while now, actor Chris Pratt has been one of the actors suggested to take over as the iconic Indiana Jones once the legendary Harrison Ford steps down for the role. While no official has been made on that front, as Ford is set to return as the famous archeologist in an upcoming fifth film.

Until the day comes when it’s decided who will take the fedora and whip on new adventures, the video below gives us an idea of what Pratt may look like in the role. Check it out for yourselves.

I didn’t need this video to convince me Chris Pratt was the right man for the job. I’ve pretty much been on board with Pratt taking over for Ford since I first heard of the potential casting. What we do know is someone will take over for Ford. And for me, this decision is far bigger than the next Bond and as big as the new Batman. Pratt has the status, attitude, and likability to be a top candidate to come aboard the franchise. And at least at the moment, I can’t think of someone better for the role.

As I said above the role is iconic and Harrison Ford is a legend. He will always be THE Indiana Jones. That doesn’t mean we can’t work in a new Indy. To the powers that be, please consider my Fountain of Youth idea. Ford falls in, and the actor taking over emerges, perfect!
