Chris Pratt Says James Gunn Was ‘Blown Away’ By Infinity War

The Guardians of the Galaxy movies have been excellent installments into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Director of the films James Gunn has done well to bring the group of heroes, who were little known outside of comic book readers, to the screen. The Guardians appear in Avengers: Infinity War beside another, more well known Marvel team, the Avengers. Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in the Guardians films, says James Gunn has seen the final version of Avengers: Infinity War and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.

“I haven’t seen this final version, but James Gunn. who directed Guardians of the Galaxy one and two, he’ll direct number three, he’s an executive producer on this [Avengers: Infinity War] I trust him, he’s got great taste and he’s really difficult. He’s not complicated as a person, but he’s difficult to please as an artist, and he watched this movie and he was blown away.”

Of course, these reactions were expected, Marvel has put out a consistent level of quality with their films, and have been slowly building up to this film for 10 years, everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has led fans here, to this epic showdown. With the way the Russo brothers have been emphasizing fans not to spoil this film, surely some events monumental to the MCU will take place.
