Chris Pratt’s Cowboy Ninja Viking Filming In Berlin This Summer

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Better Call Saul director Michelle MacLaren’s second feature film would be the comic book adaptation Cowboy Ninja Viking. What’s more is that the film would star Chris Pratt in the lead role.

The outlet Omega Underground had initially revealed that the film would be shooting in Vancouver this coming June, meaning that things are well underway. However, now it sounds like things will be getting started a bit earlier than expected. According to the same outlet, the film will also be shooting in Berlin.

Cowboy Viking Ninja is an interesting story based on the comic by A.J. Lieberman (with art by Riley Rossmo) of the same name. Here’s the synopsis:

“Tasked with creating a counter-intelligence unit, Dr. Sebastian Ghislain turned to those long thought useless to society: patients with Multiple Personality Disorder. Now, all but one of these ‘TRIPLETS’ has gone rogue, and it’s up to Cowboy Ninja Viking to find and stop this band of ridiculously disturbed, but highly effective, assassins.”

Sounds like a weird, fun ride, and I’m interested to see just what kind of globetrotting escapades will require it to shoot both in Vancouver and Berlin.
