Wow, that didn’t take long, now did it? It was only this past May that it was first revealed that legendary comedian Chris Rock would be rebooting the Saw franchise. Yes, that film franchise whose staple is people having to inflict horrifying things on themselves in order to live, is getting rebooted by Chris Rock.
Well, since the announcement, all we’ve really known about is director Darren Lynn Bousman (a franchise vet) and actor Samuel L. Jackson hopping on board to act. Now, it sounds like the film has actually finished wrapping, as Bousman shared via his Twitter account.

The photo itself doesn’t do us any favors in terms of details. Quite fittingly, we see an ugly-looking green backdrop, and I can only conclude it acts as one of the locations where an unassuming person finds themselves trapped.
This latest Saw flick’s story was created by Chris Rock and written by Pete Goldfinger and Josh Stolberg, also franchise vets.
