Exclusive (Part 2) Excerpt | To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by ...

Christopher Paolini is going on a virtual tour to promote To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars. As the Covid-19 pandemic has forced many of us to stay indoors, or at the very least avoid going out unnecessarily, a lot of people have found themselves with a lot more free time on their hands. This in turn has apparently led to people taking more time to read books as an escape from the troubling reality we find ourselves in.

If you’re one of those people, you may be interested to know that you’ll soon have the opportunity to get your hands on a copy of Christopher Paolini’s upcoming Sci-Fi novel: To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars.

Paolini is of course renowned for authoring the much-loved young adult book series: The Inheritance Cycle (which was also adapted for the big screen in the form of the widely panned first installment — Eragon).

Paolini is now venturing into the Sci-Fi genre for the first time with his latest book, which unlike his previous works, will be aimed at adult readers.

The synopsis on Paolini’s website for the new novel is as follows:

“To Sleep in a Sea of Stars is a story of enormous intergalactic weight and consequence, but also of deeply personal human strength, compassion, and awe.”

“During a routine survey mission on an uncolonized planet, xenobiologist Kira Navárez finds an alien relic that thrusts her into the wonders and nightmares of first contact. Epic space battles for the fate of humanity take her to the farthest reaches of the galaxy and, in the process, transform not only her—but the entire course of history.”
